8th House: The house of Transformation

I don’t know why this house is being frowned upon. I see this house as a house of reward, but this is just me. I crave for transformation and healing. This is my personality. I value intensity (Venus trine Pluto) in a relationship than any superficiality. I am more interested to know about what you can offer to me on a deeper level, rather than flowers or chocolates or anything in between. I want to know what you can give to me, because I know what I have (2^nd house) that I can offer to you. No questions ask. 8^th house to me is what marriage is all about. I consider this more of a marriage house rather than the 7^th house. Since the seventh house is where we can find what we consider an equal, then it safe to say that in the 8^th house shows what we offer to each other so we can both merge. Equality, in the 8^th house poses a deeper meaning. In the 8^th house, if you have nothing within you to offer then you will not get passed that transformation stage where you can say, this is me, this is who I am, and this is what I can offer, let’s be one.

8^th house is all about healing and transformation. At one point we know we need this. We need to die in order to rise up again. No one wants to go through life without ever evolving, without growth but with growth comes transformation and with transformation comes death and with death comes rebirth. That’s the essence of the 8^th house cusp. ‘I can heal you, or I have healed you, now let me rest.” To me, rest is the value of transformation. Only in the dark or death that we can truly find rest; with death I mean death of consciousness. Individually, this is where we first feel that we are one with ourselves.
